KEEP ON CAMPING!
Fall is a great time to get outdoors and experience nature. There are still sites available at Girl Scouts of Western Ohio camp properties! Troops can stay in a lodge at any of our camps; remember to reserve early, as availability is limited. There must be at least one adult from each troop who is Lodge Camp/Indoor Living Skills certified for lodge camping or Camp Certified for tent camping.

Get ‘Er Done!
November 7-9, 2008: Join us for Camp Libbey’s biannual Family/Troop Work Weekend. This is a great opportunity to give back to Camp Libbey. Service projects that will be worked on throughout the weekend include painting, chopping wood, repairs to camp, cleaning, landscaping, and more. All of this hard work does not go unnoticed and is greatly appreciated so therefore Friday and Saturday night will be filled with activities to entertain participating families and troops. We will offer programs like archery, climbing wall, games, and crafts. This is definitely a weekend where we Play Hard and Work Hard. Meals and sleeping accommodations are provided.

Cozy up at Camp
Just because it’s fall doesn’t mean the end of camping season!  Our camp properties—Camp Myeerah in Bellefontaine, OH; Camp Brookside in Sidney, OH; and Woodhaven Program Center in Lima, OH—all have cozy accommodations for year-round overnight stays, and are great ways for girls to connect with volunteers.

Staying at camp helps girls build responsibility as well as group cooperation, all while letting them explore their surroundings and find new experiences.  Contact Maggie Slovik at 419-225-4085 for more about staying at one of these sites, or fill out the Campsite Reservation Request Form.  We’ll see you at camp!
